Prophylaxis is the process of disease prevention. A regular professional tooth cleaning is the prerequisite for a long-term preservation of your tooth and oral health and therefore useful for everyone.
Despite intensity of brushing and knowledge on oral hygiene, everyday dental care at home cannot prevent built-up of plaque on your teeth.

This plaque is an optimal breeding ground for a variety of bacteria, some of which may cause serious disease in the body. In addition to caries, gingivitis and periodontitis, the consequences of bacterial colonization are: increased risk of heart attack, stroke and endocarditis. That is why we place great value on long-term tooth and oral health and prevent complications by offering our individual approach towards prophylaxis.

Unfortunately, the cost of prophylactic treatments is not provided by the insurance providers for individuals older than 18 years of age. Nevertheless, prophylaxis is extremely worthwhile. We do everything to keep your teeth healthy and beautiful. And prevention is always better and more cost effective than treatment.
