Children's prophylaxis
- Early prevention for healthy teeth
Prophylaxis for the little ones:
Between the ages of 6 and 18, the statutory health insurance funds also support prophylaxis measures. The aim is to raise awareness of dental and oral health and to teach correct brushing techniques.
Early detection & habits
Promote your children’s dental health with regular prophylaxis – playfully and effectively.
Procedure for child prophylaxis
First, the plaque on the teeth is stained so that the child can see where there are still deficits in brushing. The correct brushing technique is then demonstrated and explained to the child. The plaque is removed and the teeth are polished. Finally, the enamel is hardened with fluoride varnish.
Additional measures and tips
In addition to these specific measures, parents are given tips on dietary control if required. Child prophylaxis is fun and creates a relaxed relationship with dental care and visits to the dentist from an early age.
