Root canal treatment / endodontics
- Tooth preservation instead of removal

Preserving the tooth instead of removing it:
Root canal treatment makes it possible to save an inflamed or damaged tooth and relieve pain.

Preservation & health

Preserve your natural teeth with gentle root canal treatment – effectively and safely.

Why root canal treatment?

A vascular nerve bundle branches out inside the tooth, which can be damaged by bacteria (caries) or an accident (trauma) and then becomes inflamed. This process leads to pain and inflammation of the bone around the root tip. In this case, root canal treatment is a tooth-preserving therapy.

The course of treatment

The infected nerve tissue is completely removed under local anaesthetic and the entire root canal system is disinfected. The canal system is then sealed bacteria-proof. All therapeutic steps of endodontic treatment are carried out gently by us using state-of-the-art therapeutic procedures such as an operating microscope, mechanical preparation, electrical length measurement, ultrasound application, a complex disinfection procedure with active rinsing and disinfection and final thermoplastic filling techniques. These methods offer maximum safety, so that the prognosis of the treated tooth is almost equal to that of a healthy tooth.
